As most would agree Mondays can be just a whirlwind of chaos, stress, and headache. A painful reminder that even though we LOVE weekends, something about the sheer fuckery that happens on Mondays just makes any ounce of peace and order that you were able to create the 24 hours prior, all for naught. I've decided to counteract this sad reality by expressing gratitude about different things that happened on my Manic Mondays, starting....well with TODAY.
1. My 9 o' clock no showed which basically gave me time to catch up on some other things that I needed to do.
2. My eldest little brother got his first apartment as a grown up!!! GO D.J.
3. I found the Little House on the Prairie box set for my mother for Christmas at COSTCO
4. I woke up this morning and weighted the same thing
5. Nobody I know died today!!
There you have it people. See Mondays aren't so bad. Especially when you consider that the only alternative is to die Sunday night!!
